About Mobile Clinics
Provides mobile medical and dental clinics for children and families at rotating sites in Pierce County.Metropolitan Development Council is competing for the funding from Toms of Maine foundation. Funding from Toms will make it possible to send our mobile dental team to rural and urban areas of Pierce County to provide very urgent and emergency dental care for children and adults who are experiencing homelessness and are uninsured. The project would increase the number of free visits, including primary dental care, follow up care and oral surgery offered by the Healthcare for the Homeless Project.
