About Reharvest


ReHarvest Center focuses on the rebuild, reuse and recycle elements of waste stream
reduction by dismantling buildings and salvaging reusable product.

Structures are dismantled board by board, nail by nail. All work is done by hand using small tools.

Recovered materials are made available for reuse at our used building materials retail facility.

Items reclaimed include (but are not limited to) beams, dimensional lumber, cabinetry, doors, windows, masonry, fixtures, trim, landscaping, architecturally sensitive and historically Significant items.

Benefits

Work training and employment opportunities available for area residents. Materials reclaimed and donated to the ReHarvest Center are eligible for a tax deductible receipt. A community resource for affordable and unique used building materials. Cost savings for contractors and property owners through reduced disposal fees. Deconstruction services are competitively priced and environmentally responsible.

Donations

Donations for materials are accepted at the retail warehouse. Donations will be reviewed for appropriateness for the ReHarvest Center. The donating party will receive a Tax Deductible receipts for their donations.

Materials not accepted include:

Broken and non-reusable materials
Sheet rock/drywall
Concrete
Anything with asbestos
Unused carpet, any material containing mold, dry rot, and/or evidence of insect infestation
Furniture
Paint and hazardous materials.

The ReHarvest Center reserves the right to decline donations.
