Chemical Dependency Aide On-call

Assists Nurse with admissions and discharge of patients. Monitors patient action and behaviors. Take vital signs and transports patients, as required. Performs general housekeeping duties.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year experience in mental health or in medical healthcare field or, one (1) year of education or training in alcohol and drug treatment or, one (1) year experience in a substance abuse inpatient treatment facility or, one (1) year combination of experience and training which demonstrates ability to successfully perform job duties. The incumbent must provide and maintain on file a current First Aid Card, a CPR Card, and a Food and Beverage Handlers card. The incumbent must successfully pass a criminal history background check.

LPN On-Call

To provide basic nursing care to persons withdrawing alcohol and or other drugs. To provide medical assessment of patient status and implementation of doctor's orders, as shift lead staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Current active Washington State Nursing license and experience in chemical dependency, mental health , medical surgical procedures, or other areas of nursing relevant to this position. The incumbent must pass a criminal history background check. Must have current TB test or x-ray at time of hire.

Management Aide 4 / Clerical

Compose standard replies to correspondence. Arrange and schedule appointments. Sets up and maintains files. Reviews service delivery files for completeness. Acts as custodian of program’s documents and participant files. Maintains confidentially. Operates a multiple line telephone system to receive incoming calls. Provides information and directs calls. Takes messages from program participants, private and public agencies, and from the general public for staff. Types and proof reads reports. Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative program procedures. Design and provides forms and other selected correspondence. May assist with program publicity. Utilizes standard office machines such as computer, various computer software programs, copier, fax machines, and calculator. May collect fees or schedules payments from participants. May post, and forward authorized documentation for the typing of checks for participants. Maintains records of receipts and expenditures. Prepares reports for MDC, funding sources, and regulatory bodies, as required. Reviews correspondence, prepares responses independently, drafts letters, memos and other materials as required. May supervise daily activities of other clerical and auxiliary staff. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A certificate of completion of computer course work from an accredited academic and/or Vocational Technical Institution and a minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible clerical experience OR Equivalent combination of experience and/or training which demonstrates knowledge and ability to successfully perform in this job. The incumbent must successfully pass a criminal history background check. An MDC application is required in order to be considered for this position.
